Fuel Pressure Sensor

- Check condition of sensor to harness connection, make sure the seals are in place.
- Check for signs of corrosion or contamination.
- Repair/replace as necessary (The fuel pressure sensor is a non-serviceable item and is an integral part of the fuel injection common rail assembly, if the sensor is faulty the complete common rail assembly must be renewed.).
- If no fault is found, proceed to Step 2.

Wiring fault |
- Check the harness continuity, and machine and earth contacts.
- Repair/replace as necessary
- If no fault is found, proceed to Step 3.

3 |
ECU fault |
- Disconnect the harness from the ECU and inspect.
- Check seals are in place, check for signs of corrosion and pin damage.
- If harness is damaged repair/replace as necessary.
- If ECU pins are damaged, replace ECU and reflash, see section on ECU flashing.
- If no fault is found, raise a Kohler Helpdesk Call.
