Alternator belt replacement

6.4.1 Disassembly

  1. Undo the screws A and remove the guard B.
  2. Loosen the stud C and the screw D.
  3. Rimuovere la cinghia F.
  4. Perform the operations described in Par. 6.5.

6.4.2 Assembly

 

 Important
  • The belts must always be replaced every time they are assembled, even if they have not reached the scheduled hours for replacement.
  1. Insert the new belt F on the pulleys G.

  1. Push the alternator E in the direction of the arrow H, tighten screw D and then stud C (tightening torque 40 Nm).
  2. Check the tension of the belt F with the instrument (Clavis), positioning it in point P (the tension must be between 392 N).
  3. Fasten the protection B with the scres A (tightening torque 5 Nm)
